Genre

Solitaire Adventures Tripeaks is a mobile casual game that uses Solitaire card game rules as its core mechanic.

As a casual game, the player will have to progress through levels that are unique, using special cards that are setting this game apart from the traditional solitaire card game. The user progression is also followed recursively with iterative features like the leagues and the missions and battle pass that are pushing the player to complete more levels to progress in parallel on these features.

The game uses meta-features that are seasonal or temporary to provide novelty as much as possible. The ultimate goal is to offer something different every single day using those extra features.

Theme

The main theme of the game is based on traveling and living adventures in exotic (sometimes fantasy) places. As the player goes through the level progression in the game, they will visit maps that are themed after famous real-world or fictional locations.

The liveops events should convey as much as possible this idea of living adventures in various places. This is why our challenge feature is named Treasure Hunt and asks the player to sail with pirates to find rewards on tropical islands, or our Bingo mini-game is set in an ocean liner.

This theme sets up apart from the competition that uses other ideas:

  • Fishdom Solitaire: Aquariums and the Sea.
  • Solitaire Grand Harvest: Farming.
  • Tiki Solitaire: Hawaiian culture.

Story

For the moment, the game does not have a clear story. One of the upcoming challenges will be to create a unique main meta-feature (like the customizable aquariums in Fishdom Solitaire) that will give a clear goal to the player to add this storytelling dimension to the game.

Characters

Beth

She is our main character. She helps the player understand the game mechanics. She would have to play a central role in the story when we develop one.

Platforms

The game is only available on iOS at the moment.

We are planning to (re-)release it on Android when the iOS version will be profitable.
